There are no direct buses connecting Zurich Airport to Zurich city center. However, if you are visiting Switzerland for winter sports, there are special shuttle services that take you to your final destination directly from the airport.

Zurich Airport is well connected to city center and other cities like Basel, Bern, Lausanne and Munich.
There are two railway options available:
❯ SBB Trains
There are approximately 14 trains per hour to Zurich’s main central station; Zurich Hauptbahnhof (HB). Routes S4, S16 and S24 operate directly to Zurich HB. The trains operate from 5:00 AM to 0:40 AM.
The tickets cost CHF6.60 and can be bought from the SBB website (Select Zurich Flughafen as airport station) or from SBB travel center located in Check in 3 Area.
The journey to Zurich HB takes only 10 minutes, and from Zurich HB, you can find many connections within Switzerland but also to other countries like Italy and Germany.
❯ Tram nr.12 and 10
Another convenient option is to take Tram no.12 or no.10 that runs every 15 minutes to main train station; Zurich HB.
The trams leave outside the terminal between Parking 2 and Parking 3 lots.
Tram services are available from 5:40 AM to 11:40 PM. The journey takes around 40 minutes and the tickets cost CHF6.60.
The taxi stands are located outside of Arrival Terminals 1 and 2. A taxi journey to city center costs around CHF70 and it takes around 15 minutes.
There are also limousine services that are available to get from Arrival 1 terminal.
