❯ Public buses 36 and 36A
You can take public buses number 36 and 36A from Changi Airport to Singapore city center. The buses travel to very central points of Singapore, such as City Hall and Orchard Road.
The journey takes about an hour.
A single ticket costs 2.50 SGD; you can get your ticket on board, but bear in mind that you should have the exact fare, as no change is given.
The buses run between 6:00 AM and 11:59 PM, every 15 minutes.
The bus station is located underneath Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
❯ Airport shuttles
You can also take an airport shuttle, which are available for booking at the Ground Transportation Desk, located in the arrivals hall and open 24/7.
The journey to Singapore city center takes about 25 minutes.
Tickets cost 9 SGD for adults, and 6 SGD for children below 12.
Shuttles operate 24/7 and leave every 15 minutes during peak hours (every 30 minutes during non-peak hours).
The service provides drop-off at most hotels, which makes it the most convenient transport option. Keep in mind that you're allowed to bring a maximum of 1 piece of checked luggage + 1 carry-on luggage per person.

The coach takes you from Changi Airport to Johor Bahru, Malaysia, in about two hours.
Tickets cost 10 SGD for adults, 5 SGD for children.
Operating hours are 8:15 AM–11:15 PM, with departures once an hour.
With the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) train line, SIN Airport is well connected to many parts of the city. To get to the city center, take the MRT train for two stops to Tanah Merah Station and change to the East West line train (westbound, in the direction of Joo Koon).
The train ride to City Hall (which is the main train interchange station in the city center) takes around 40 minutes.

Trains start running at 5:26 AM, Monday to Saturday (5:59 AM on Sundays and public holidays), but the first train for Tanah Merah Station is at 5:31 AM, and the last one at 11:18 PM. Trains operate every 7-9 minutes during peak hours and every 12 minutes during non-peak hours.
The MRT train station is just a short walk from both Terminals 2 and 3.
There are two taxi options available at SIN Airport: simple/regular taxi cabs, and limousines/large taxis.
❯ Regular taxis are queued outside of each arrivals terminal. In Singapore, all taxis are metered and can legally accommodate up to 4 passengers.
The trip to the city center usually takes about 30 minutes.
A typical fare is between 20-40 SGD.

❯ Limousines/large taxis are convenient if you're more than 4 people traveling, as well as after midnight, as they have flat rates and don't charge any surcharges.
