Urban airport express line EA (Especial Aeropuerto) is the only public transport option available at the airport. The line connects the airport with Plaza de Armas (main bus station in the city center) and main train station AVE Santa Justa.
The buses run approximately every 30 minutes from 4:30 AM to 0:45 AM. The trip takes around 40 minutes and a single way ticket costs €4 and is buyable on board.
If you are heading to the airport, allow plenty of time for the trip because the traffic jams happen in Seville and they can take a lot of time.
There are no metros or trains connecting Seville (SVQ) Airport to Seville city center.
The taxi ranks are located right outside the terminal. In Seville, you can’t flag down a taxi anywhere, so you should get in the queue right next to the ranks to get a taxi.
A typical trip to Seville center takes around 15 minutes and the cost is around €22.
If you don't want to deal with the hassle of taxi companies/drivers or long bus queues, you can prebook a ride via Kiwitaxi, an online booking platform that offers reliable and cheap airport transfers worldwide. The English-speaking driver will wait for you at the airport even if your flight is delayed, holding a sign with your name on it.
• The taxi drivers rarely speak English and they have a bad reputation in Seville. It is a good idea to write your hotel’s name and address on a paper and hand it to the driver to avoid misunderstanding. The taxis don’t accept credit cards, be sure to have around €30-40 in cash with you.
• The official taxis are white with a “taxi” sign on the top. Always be sure to take an official taxi to avoid scams.
