Bus 5A connects Kastrup Airport to Copenhagen Central Station, City Hall Square, Nørreport and other stations.

❯ The easiest and most convenient way to get to Copenhagen city center from Kastrup Airport is taking the M2 metro line (the yellow line).
Airport metro station is called Lufthavnen and located above Terminal 3.
All the trains leaving from the airport go in the same direction (Lufthavnen to Vanløse Station). The trains leave every 4 minutes and a journey to city center (Nørreport Station) takes 15 minutes.
In Copenhagen, you pay as many as zones you pass through (each zone costs kr 12). To get to city center (Nørreport Station) you need to pass three zones so the ticket will cost kr 36. The service runs 24 hours a day except Monday-Wednesday (5:00 AM to midnight).
The tickets can be bought at the metro station and DSB ticket counters by credit cards or coins (no notes).

DSB trains to København H (Copenhagen Central Station) run every 10 minutes and the journey takes around 15 minutes. A single way ticket to København H costs kr 36 and can be bought directly from the DSB website.

• If you are landing at Terminal 1, take the free shuttle to Terminal 3 to get to the metro and the train station.
• If you are heading to København H (Copenhagen Central Station), it is better to take the train as the metro does not go to the central station.
Kastrup Airport is located 9 km. away from Copenhagen center.
Taxis’ pick up areas are located outside Terminal 3 where there is also a dedicated rank for taxis to Sweden. Danish taxis accept journeys to Sweden and the fares include also tips and can be paid by credit card.
A taxi journey to Copenhagen center takes around 15 minutes and the journey costs between kr 220-300.
